Yesterday, I had the privilege of taking part in a specialized workshop organized for selected journalists in Sri Lanka, and it turned out to be one of the most insightful learning experiences of recent times.
The session, titled “Google Productivity Tools for Journalists”, was designed exclusively for media professionals — offering not just theoretical knowledge, but also hands-on practices and real-world applications.

From exploring innovative ways to use Google’s productivity suite to diving into Gemini AI for research and content creation, the program truly opened doors to smarter, faster, and more collaborative ways of working.
